OUR PROJECTS
Royal Helium controls over 1,000,000 acres of prospective helium permits and leases across southern Saskatchewan and southeastern Alberta.
Given the current and foreseeable global undersupplied nature of this critical and non-renewable product,
Royal is well positioned to be a leading North American producer of this increasingly high value commodity.

ALBERTA
Steveville
Our flagship Steveville property is located in Township 020, Range 12W4 in southern Alberta, approximately 35 km northeast of the city of Brooks. The Steveville Production plant is engineered to process 15,000,000 cubic feet of raw gas per day, resulting in annual production of 22,000 MCF of 99.999% pure helium and the ability to produce 20,000,000 cubic feet of food grade CO2.
40 Mile
Royal acquired 40-Mile in June of 2023. 40-Mile holds significant potential for high flow rate helium enriched gas in the Cambrian and Devonian horizons in at least two structures identified in the acquired and reprocessed 2D seismic. This new project area presents something unique to other areas that Royal has reviewed, with the presence of existing historic test data demonstrating high flow rate inert gas and confirmed, significant helium concentrations. Upon completion of a seismic program in 2022, it became clear that this will become one of our highest priority areas, as all of the geological features required of a successful helium production reservoir have been confirmed. Royal has plans for an initial drill program in 2024.
Saskatchewan
Saskatchewan
Royal Helium Ltd controls approx. 870,000 acres of helium prospective lands over 15 distinct project areas. To date areas drilled include Climax (4 wells), Val Marie (1 well drilled) and Ogema (2 wells drilled), all successful with commercial helium grades tested.
